[OS X TeX] Inconsistent behavior in MacTex

Howdy,

This looks like a corrupted Font Cache. Try downloading Onyx for your  
OS version from <http://www.titanium.free.fr/> (there are separate  
versions for Leopard, Tiger etc.) and clean up the font caches.
