[OS X TeX] Powerdot problem

I've been experimenting with Powerdot after the recent discussion.

On an older G4, on which I have MacTex 2005 installed, the package  
runs nicely with TeXShop as the front end.

However, on several other machines, including a G4, a G5, and an  
Intel Mac, on which I have MacTeX 2007 installed, the right side of  
every slide is truncated, so that each slide appears to be a square  
and fails to contain all of the text, when I compile the very same  
document.

Any ideas?
