And there's the pdfpages LaTeX package as well. See

/Library/TeX/Documentation/texmf-dist-doc/latex/pdfpages/pdfpages.pdf

The current version (probably to be downloaded from CTAN) includes  
not only support for pdfTeX, but also for XeTeX.
