[OS X TeX] Installing packages not available as iInstaller-Packages

You don't need them for LaTeX to work. What the <package>.ins does  
when you (pdf)latex it, is read <package>.dtx and extract from it a  
<package>.sty for LaTeX and a <package>.dvi or .pdf
as a manual for you.
