[OS X TeX] Different results with TeXLive intel/ppc

Do you run TeX via TeXShop and, if so, have you set it use TeXLive  
instead of teTeX? That will affect the binaries only (tex, pdftex,  
xetex, dvips, etc.) in /usr/local/teTeX/bin/ and /usr/local/TeXLive/ 
bin/, not all the support files in /usr/local/teTeX/share/ 
texmf.tetex/ and /usr/local/TeXLive/texmf.texlive/, but that might be  
worth checking though.

In TeXShop, this setting lives in Preferences > Engine > Path  
settings > (pdf)TeX.
