Thanks Gerben !
Before I go ahead and update : could you clarify what someone like
me should do who has both the TeX i-package and the TeXLive i-package
and the Latex updater i-package installed :
I understand that I should
-ditch the Latex updater i-package,
- first uninstall both (?) the TeX i-package and the TeXLive i-package
before installing the new version(s) ?
So it will then be possible to switch from one TeX distribution
to another by using the System Preferences panel ?!
What did you mean when you mentioned the TeXLive iso,
that , if I installed it, it could then also be accessed via the
System preference
panel ?
Regarding paths : right now I have to add
(setenv "PATH" "/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/
local/gwTeX/bin/powerpc-apple-darwin-current")
to my .emacs file. How should this be modified ?
Thanks for all your great work,
Philipp
