[OS X TeX] dvipng1-8 and SAGE

Did you look whether your libkpathsea.a has this symol or not?

   nm /usr/local/teTeX/lib/libkpathsea.a |grep kpse_set_progname

Does it say something like

  00000aa8 T _kpse_set_progname

? If not, you probably don't have the right version.
It will work with Fink's libkpathsea in any case.
