Another way is to
Install "Ulem.sty"
usage:
\usepackage{ulem}
\sout{Ha ha}
It's not in my i-installer installation. But it provides some other
flavors of lines, like
\uline Single underline
\uuline Double underline
\uwave Wavy underline
\sout Line through text
\xout Text marked over with slashes
