yaced in nice, but I have had one problem
with it.  I am Russian and have to use the Cyrillic input method in Emacs
a lot; in yaced, when the input method is set to Cyrillic, all Control and
Meta commands break.  I have to switch the input method back each time I want
to C-c C-c my file :-)

I didn't research the matter thoroughly but Aquamacs
[1] works just fine in this respect, and I am using it.  Another Emacs that
appears to handle input methods right is the one from the Fink project distribution
[2], but it requires X windows.  I never tried Enhanced Carbon Emacs.
