Alas that's not creating an mbox file, but a .mbox directory  
containing the messages in individual .emlx format (there will  
possibly be an mbox file if that's a pre-Tiger mbox imported in  
Tiger). Thus, in fact it's only putting on the Desktop a copy of  
the .mbox directory from ~/Library/Mail/.
