[OS X TeX] texti2html

A SIMPLE(?) question:
I am Using a G4 Laptop ala OSX(10.3.9) and TeXShop 1.40,
PLEASE, How do I get the example.tex file to appear in English (arabic) 
instead of
some Far-eastern: Korean, Chinese, or whatever ( I can not identify). 
However, it compiles
properly to give a readable pdf output file in English. Strange!
ALL my tex (code) files appear in this Korean(?) font.
Please help a person who may be too-old to understand.
