fink normally hides things away in a special directory
i-Installer uses standard system directories
fink is tested to work w/ other fink-installed things
i-Installer is guaranteed to work w/ things which expect files to be in
standard locations
i-Installer is the norm for projects like TeXshop, iTeXmac, XeTeX, &c.
to work with and ``just works''
