[OS X TeX] fink tetex vs. i-installer

Hi list
I am new to the list, so this might have been discussed before (Sorry).
With my Tiger upgrade I thought switching from fink tetex to i- 
installer tetex. Can anybody explain the differences, drawbacks or  
advantages of either one.
