[OS X TeX] MathSciNet to Alpha (was MathSciNet to Bibdesk)

Of course this is not nearly as powerful a tool as BibDesk, but I would
like to take the opportunity to mention that the MathLibrary package for
Alpha (part of the CardBrowser package which also interfaces the
Addressbook, your bookmarks, or your iTunes library) sports an interface to
MathSciNet, ArXiv, and a couple of other math databases, and allows you to
tranfer any record to your bibdatabase (.bib files) or your Metakit
database of math papers and notes (if you have such a database). It will
also do its best at figuring out if the item already exists in your bibfile
or database, and in that case offer to merge the two records...

The package can be downloaded from

   http://mat.uab.es/~kock/alpha-tcl/CardBrowser-beta.tar.gz

but you should be aware that this is all still at a beta stage of
development, and the installation will require you to write a few Tcl
commands by hand (instructions are included).

Cheers,
Joachim.
