[OS X TeX] What kind of operation is TeXing? (concerning hardware)

There is no better choice! It's faster than any PowerBook or iBook, 
it's even smaller, it could fit into your coat's pocket. The 80 GB disk 
could be sufficiently fast -- if not use a Fujitsu MHT2080AH, it's fast 
and silent (I built such a disk into my old Titanium PowerBook with 500 
MHz: it now feels like a double G5 tower). You should start with 512 MB 
of RAM.

There is one thing missing in the software: I think it does not help in 
migrating your data from the old to the new as the portables do. TeX 
should better be installed from the net or from the old i-Packages if 
they're not too old, being at least November 2004.
