[OS X TeX] Enhanced carbon emacs and TeXShop under Tiger

These are surely FAQs, so a pointer to the relevant info is
probably all I need. On the other hand, if someone has recently
installed this stuff and has the info off the top of their head
... :-)

I've upgraded to Tiger. I've been using enhanced carbon emacs,
Gerben Wierda's TeX package, and TeXshop (to view and print).

1. The old emacs (from my use under OS 10.3) won't load. I see
    that there is a new version. Should I trash the old one before
    downloading the new binaries, or will it know how to overwrite
    things.

2. Do I need to do anything to update TeXShop?

3. Do I need to do anything to update my TeX stuff (other than run 
i-Installer
and check for updates)
