[OS X TeX] FAILED to generate

I have restored the good running. Apparently, it is when I creat an 
other part after Introduction (noted \part*{}). But there was several, 
with just one word for each one, to test fancyhead. Now, the log file 
indicate nothing. The next problem, when I will copy the rest of my 
book, I will do what you say and perhaps need your help. How to know 
the last Ghostcript version?
