Howdy,
Page header? I thought \chapter set the the \pagestyle{plain} so there
should be no header.
I don't see why the \huge should be set since it should be delimited by the
braces and the center environment. Actually, I'd get rid of the center
environment (which, I think puts in additional vertical space) and use
\centering inside the braces. You may then need to move the final \vskip
outside the inner braces. How does the final space look?
