[OS X TeX] a problem with pdftricks

Here are the messages concerning what happens when
LaTeX tries to process the images:

This is crucial.
It says that there was an error in the LaTeX run.
There will have been a file  new-example1-fig1.log
produced for that run. It should have a message that
tells what was the problem.

However, the script probably removes that file after
the conversions have been made...

So you should find that script, and comment-out the system
calls to  rm  (= remove files) .

Run your job again, and have a look at all the .log files
that are produced.
In particular, new-example1-fig1.log  should provide the
clues to determine what is going wrong.

If you cannot tell, then post that .log file to this
list so that others may help.
