[OS X TeX] Trump Med. & dvips (revisited)

Hi everybody,
I'm sorry to say, but I'm still struggling with the installation of my 
Trump Mediaeval fonts. In the meantime, I also bought the bold, bold 
italic, and italic fonts, recreated all the tfm-files etc. and put all 
the stuff in the right place; I also put the (BTW correctly named) afm- 
and pfb-fonts in the fonts-folder of GS and added the following lines 
to Fontmap.GS (below 'actual fonts'):

/TrumpMediaevalLT-Ital	(ptvri8a.pfb)	;
/TrumpMediaevalLT-BoldItal (ptvbi8a.pfb)	;
/TrumpMediaevalLT-Bold	(ptvb8a.pfb)	;

Result: everything works fine with pdftex but, again, the 
altpdflatex-route doesn't work (neither with GS nor with panther's 
distiller). Surprisingly enough, the output seems to depend on the 
order of the lines in the map-file ptv.map (see below) along the 
following lines:

This is weird, isn't it? And although the testfile uses all relevant 
combinations of textit and textbf at most two .pfb files are loaded. I 
don't have a clue what's going on here. Any ideas??? I also attach a 
texlog (with roman as the last line in the map-file) in case it's 
useful to anybody.
