[OS X TeX] mathtime in prosper

have you tried downloading TS1helvetica.fd from CTAN and putting it in 
your local texmf tree. If a call is being made to it without it 
actually doing anything then that *may* fix the problem. Or it may help 
you to further diagose what's missing.
