Howdy,
According to the documentation for MusiXTeX there is a musixtex.sty package
file so technically you should have no problem with using MusiXTeX with
LaTeX. There is a warning that MusiXTeX uses lots of registers so you may
run out but that might not be a problem using the latest pdflatex since that
is really pdfelatex which, I believe, extends the register count at the cost
of time. I'd say try it out and then see if you run out of memory. You might
be able to set up a larger memory version of LaTeX and then use that too.
I don;t have the fonts loaded or any knowledge of the use of MusiXTeX so I
can't be much of a help outside of what I've already said.
