[OS X TeX] Extremely weird bug in: dvips? ghostscript? lucida fonts?

It's a GS bug indeed. Uninstall (with i-Installer) GS 8 and replace by 
GS 6: problem vanishes; uninstall GS 6 and reinstall GS 8: problem 
reappears. All this on latest Panther.
