Hi Tim
OK thats the console window and it sounds like its
not running latex or anything.
Did you run the installer in TeX.dmg ?
What does it say if you open up Terminal in /Applications/Utilities and
do `latex test.tex' - assuming test.tex is in your Home directory ?
