[OS X TeX] mathtime & book.cls

Hi,

once again -- sorry for being annoying -- I've got a problem concerning
mathtimes. If I latex my dissertation using tetex and TexShop via the
Ghostscript-route (this is necessary, since I need to use tree-
dvips.sty) with the documentclass "book", then using the commands
\chapter{...} or \section{...} has the effect that -- except of math,
bold, italic, slanted and some capitals -- all fonts are not displayed
in the pdf-file, in especially all small letters in "normalfont". When
switching to the documentclass "article" everything seems to be perfect
again; the same is true, when switching to pdftex. (Using the Lucida
Fonts isn't problematic, too.) When I installed mathtime, I simply put
the pfb-files in the YandY directory in my texmf-tree; as the log shows
they seem to be loaded correctly.

### /usr/local/teTeX/bin/powerpc-apple-darwin-current/dvips -R -u
+psfonts.map -u +pdftex.map -u +Ttbbold.map -o

### ps2pdf /tmp/altpdflatex.2211/Probe.ps Probe.pdf

Did anyone already face this problem or has an idea what's going on
here? (I'm using an older version of tetex with dvips(k) 5.86d).

Any help would really be appreciated!

Thanks, Ingo
