I would say that if someone could really sort out the font issue in LaTeX 
and make it transparent to ordinary users it might renew the world's 
interest in (La)TeX. TeX delivers superb print quality of math texts, but 
unfortunately the CM fonts are not very suited for photocopying and 
pdf-documents (too spindle). The MathTime font is better (I think), but to 
my knowlegde there is no free MathTime package that includes all the math 
symbols in CM (bold greek is also a problem).
