Hi William

How did you set up latex2html?  Did it just work when you typed
latex2html file.tex or did you have to configure it somehow ?

On older UNIX installations I have used you had to run a perl
script in the latex2html folder that did a setup. I t hink i t
was called test-install. I can't find it in the fink install.
