[Mac OS X TeX] External Editor Protocol for TeXShop?

<x-flowed>I'd like TeXShop to support the External Editor Protocol.  There's 
information on it at

<http://www.barebones.com/support/developer/odbsuite.html>

According the former, "this protocol is currently implemented by 
BBEdit, Style, Tex-Edit Plus and PageSpinner on the server side, and 
by Interarchy, NetFinder, Transmit and Fetch on the client side."

It apparently works via Apple Events.  It sounds like a good idea. 
Any thoughts?
