[Mac OS X TeX] opening ps, eps & dvi files from TeXShop

I just tested this with TeXShop 1.13 and it seemed to work at first.
What I did:

1. Choose File->Open from the menu
2. navigate to an eps file
3. Select it.

After a few seconds it correctly opened in the pdf output window.

I tried the same with a DVI file, and though the file was processed
correctly (I could see this in the Console.app console window) the PDF
was not displayed. It also failed to open an .ps file.

So, as far as I can see, dvi and ps do not work, eps does work. I'll
investigate.
