[lucida] kerning table

At the time Y&Y were still active, they had an archive of alternative Lucida metrics available freely on their site. The metrics were said to differ in that they included kern pairs, and to be experimental.

It's beyond my technical ability to know exactly what that means (I thought this meant adjusting the space between consecutive letters depending on the letters, pairs by pairs, but maybe not). I downloaded and used the metrics at the time (with OzTeX on the Mac), but failed to notice any difference in the outcome.

These metrics are still referenced as lucdkern.zip at TUG's archive of the Y&Y site, at

but the link is dead. I still have a copy of zip file; if you're interested I just put it at
