I can confirm this on my Debian/unstable box, where we use the tlnet
from 2014-06-26, but *NOT* on fully updated TL2014.

So it seems that one of the updates between 2014-06-26 and now
has fixed this problem.

Looking into the updates that are relevant I see only the l3 packages.
Are you sure you are completely updated with respect to current tlnet?

Here with up2date tlnet tl2014 I get:
