[lucida] Problems with Lucida Installation

Sounds like your map file (psfonts.map for dvips, pdftex.map for pdftex)
doesn't include those fonts.  Maybe the new OpenSuse install clobbered
it.

Perhaps just running
updmap-sys --enable Map lucida.map

(followed by mktexlsr) will fix it.  On the other hand, maybe the
lucida.map file itself is clobbered; you can get the original from CTAN.
