[lucida] the dvi2ps and pdflatex problems in Miktex2.5 when using lucida fonts

I doubt there are any differences in the macros.  They haven't been
updated on CTAN for quite some time.

Does the new installation still find other files in your localtexmf?
That's what comes to mind first.

    thumbnail view is the error information.

That "error information" doesn't give any details at all.  The .log file
from the pdflatex run might be more forthcoming.
