[lucida] Font problem

Hello!

I've just bought the full set of Lucida fonts, and have successfully
installed them (on a Windows/MikTeX system); but I have one small
problem. When I compile the test file lucida-sample.tex and open the
.dvi file with Yap, I get a complaint about hlcry. Looking at the
document properties, I get the following log:

Making PK font:
C:\texmf\miktex\bin\makepk.exe --verbose hlcry 466 600 0+466/600 ljfour
Trying to make PK font "hlcry" (at 466 DPI)...
"makemf" --verbose "hlcry"
"ttf2pk" -q -t "hlcry"
Creating "hlcry.pk"...
"gsf2pk" "hlcry" "LucidaNewMath-Symbol" "" "" "lbms.pfb" "466" "hlcry.pk"
Reading TFM file "C:\localtexmf\fonts\tfm\bh\lucida\hlcry.tfm"...
Starting Ghostscript:
C:\texmf\miktex\bin\mgs.exe -dNODISPLAY -dNOGC
-sSUBSTFONT="LucidaNewMath-Symbol" -q --
"C:/texmf/dvips/gsftopk/render.ps" "LucidaNewMath-Symbol"
"(C:/localtexmf/fonts/type1/bh/lucida/lbms.pfb) brun" "" "466"
Writing Pk file "hlcry.pk"...
Error: Premature end of file.
"ps2pk" -v -X466 lbms.pfb hlcry.pk
makepk: gsf2pk failed on "lbms.pfb".
makepk: ps2pk failed on "lbms.pfb".

In the localtexmf tree, under
\localtexmf\fonts\pk\modeless\bh\lucida\dpi466 there is indeed no file
hlcry.pk, though there are various other .pk files, and there are
hlcry.pk files at other sizes.

I did wonder whether there might have been a corrupt .tfm file in the
zip I downloaded from TUG, so I tried the copy from CTAN, but that
seemed to be identical.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

David Saunders
