[lucida] installation question

You should tell the relevant programs where the outline fonts are stored. On 
this system (OpenSUSE with teTeX) the configuration is enabled by invoking

$ updmap --enable Map=lucidabr.map
$ updmap --enable Map=lumath.map

Note that this uses two map files shipped with the "tetex" package of 
OSS, /not/ the file "lucida.map" coming with lucida-complete.zip. Please 
check the documentation of your TeX installation for details.
