I installed TL 2022 yesterday using the command
install-tl -repository http://www.math.utah.edu/pub/tlpretest/
All went well.
I tried to compile a very large file I have using lualatex
which should take about 30-40 minutes using TL 2021
(it is about 40,000 PDF pages) and lualatex has now been running
for almost 12 hrs at near 97% CPU on linux ubuntu. No errors
or anything, but it is still running as we speak and I have no idea why
it is taking this long and how much more time I need to wait.

/usr/local/texlive/2022/bin/x86_64-linux/lualatex
>lualatex --version
This is LuaHBTeX, Version 1.15.0 (TeX Live 2022)
Development id: 7509
This is ubuntu under windows 10 Linux subsystem.
On same system, TL 2021 lualatex is much much faster.
What can I do to find why it is taking so long? or
what is it doing?
Sorry I can't make MWE or anything like this as I
have no idea where the problem is.
But I am happy to try anything.
The command I use is
lualatex --shell-escape --file-line-error filename.tex
>uname -a
Linux DESKTOP-7OK6FOH 5.10.60.1-microsoft-standard-WSL2
