[luatex] Problems with LuaTeX 1.0.8

I can't reproduce your problem, I get with both engines (luatex
1.0.7 from a current texlive and luatex 1.09.0 and 1.09.2) your
luatex 1.09 output. Can you add 

\tracingoutput1
\showboxbreadth\maxdimen\showboxdepth\maxdimen

to your example and then show the two log-files?
