The Lua 5.1 documentation* states that “format.string()” (on which, I
suppose, the “context()” function is based) “follows the same rules as
the printf family of standard C functions”, whereas according to the
Lua 5.2 documentation,** it “follows the same rules as the ANSI C
function sprintf”. Perhaps that’s the source of the difference?

We’ll need it, what with the depressing rainy spring and all :)
