  Basically, a list of nodes such as glyphs, glue, etc.  (LuaTeX has a
small library to represent TeX nodes.)  It should output the same type
of data.

  You can see a simple example of using pre_linebreak_filter on

  All it does is display information on the terminal, it doesn't modify
the data TeX processes in any way, but I think provides a good example.

  Yes, although I've never done that myself.

  Polyglossia can now be used with LuaLaTeX.  If you tell me what macro
