[luatex] when will LuaTeX provide string functions that supersede those of the slnunicode library?

In 0.80, hopefully, to be included in TeXLive 2013. In practice, that means in a few weeks, since the deadline for TL 2013 is end of March. In that version, there will be probably be both the old slnunicode library and a new library of our own writing, to ease the transition.
