[luatex] \font primitive does not read otf file

but of course.  but then, luatex isn't exactly compatible with the
plaintex philosophy, what with plain's weird mangling of ascii and all.

surely, a true plain-philosopher would load plain.tex and dump it...

... and then find it was useless, and go back to original tex with none
of those silly e-tex extensions, even.
