Well, if I change the name of the file, it would be weird to keep the same Lua
module name then, and changing it would be an incompatible change, which
qualifies for inclusion in the big rework.

Oh, yes, I could have done that. If you don't mind, I'll include it in the
rework too (should not takes longer than a few weeks). For now, just make sure
that luatexbase-modutils.sty is loaded (luatextra.sty does that) and use

require "luamcallback"
