[latexrefman] LaTeX - reference manual, 15.3 \parindent and \parskip

thank you for your work on this document.

I wanted to change \parindent in my doc;
I copied and pasted the code from the
Synopsis description
and got an error message.

15.3 \parindent & \parskip
Synopsis:
\setlength{\parskip}{horizontal len} % vertical   ?
\setlength{\parinden}{vertical len}  % horizontal,  sp?
...
This, put in the preamble,
\setlength{\parindent}{0em} %correct spelling
\setlength{\parskip}{1ex}
