On the page

you have at the top

\setlength{\parskip}{horizontal len}
\setlength{\parinden}{vertical len}

Should this not be:

\setlength{\parskip}{vertical len}
\setlength{\parindent}{horizontal len}

I have been using LaTeX for more than 25 years but I came across the gem 
of your site only today.
