By accident I still have the commit on my screen.  It says changes in writing.html, mirroring.html, etc. all happened.

I have the same thing you show.  All the file sizes agree.  Perhaps I did not communicate correctly?  In index.html, under "Contributions wanted" is the final sentence a link to "writing.html"?

I did not do an "htmlsplit" or "commitready" make target but will do for the CTAN upload.

Every four hours, right now. Maybe I should just make it hourly.

    In the mirroring.html page I changed the example url from "latexrefman/"
    to "latexref" to match latexref.xyz.
    The changes to writing.html are ...
    I also made a link from index.html to the writing.html page,  ...
