[l2h] Best GNU/linux distro for latex2html?

Hello;

I am thinking of trying GNU/Linux, and was wondering if there is a better 
distro with respect to its support of l2h in terms of having the most 
up-2-date package and bug fixes.

Would that be Debian by any chance?  or are they all the same with this 
respect?

I assume all the distro's will have just as good support for Latex itself? 
Which Latex is considered the best or most used these days on Unix? I use 
Miktex on windows.
