[l2h] Seeking advice and/or tips on setup/config on an XP system

Evening All:

Looking for input on whether I'm where I should be at or need to make some 
changes to my setup of l2h.

- XP Home
- Mixtex 2.5 (fairly standard install)

Ghostscript, Temp, and the final home of the configured l2h have shifted so 
their directories are nominally 8.3 format. No spaces or ~ characters as far as 
I can see. The Miktex install is the exception at the moment. The contents of 
config.log follow below.

Any thoughts, tips, or advice? Anything I should consider doing differently?
