[l2h] link in bibitem produces newline why?

Hi,

if the first thing in a bibitem is a link, a newline is produced. Why?

e.g.

\bibitem{Opt} \htmladdnormallink{OptimaX.}{http://www.optimax.dk/}
Multivariate data analysis consulting firm.

for a html-example: se
http://www-texdev.mpce.mq.edu.au/l2h/docs/manual/node9_ct.html#biblio
the 5th and 6th ref.

Any workarounds??
