[l2h] cropping bars - solved!

Dear all, dear Shigeharu,
thanks to Shigeharu TAKENO the cropping problem was solved!
While l2hconf.pin defines only
$DVIPSOPT .= " -E";
the created l2hconf.pm says
$DVIPSOPT = ' -Ppdf -E';
After removing "-Ppdf" in *l2hconf.pm* and placing it in my case into
/usr/local/lib/latex2html
the cropping problem was solved.
Fortunately I could revert to perl 5.00404 solving also the problem
caused by perl 5.6.1 which generated following message:
Error: No such image type 'gif'.
This installation supports (first is default):
and stopping execution...
