[l2h] Cannot get rid of half-frames around generated math images.

pnmcrop from the Netpbm utilities.

Check which version you are using.
If it is earlier than 9.12 then get the latest upgrade from
 www.sourceforge.org/projects/netpbm/


You may need to reinstall LaTeX2HTML (or at least the  pstoimg part
of it) to adapt to the newer  netpbm .
Before doing that, check the revision number in the LaTeX2HTML script
against the copy that you can find at:

   www.latex2html.org/user/latex2html.pin

Currently this is:
# $Id: latex2html.pin,v 1.55 2001/05/27 00:10:05 RRM Exp $
                        ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

If there is a big difference, with what you currently are using,
then I'd advise upgrading the whole of LaTeX2HTML, from the
"downloads" page at  www.latex2html.org

The configuration to handle the newer netpbm was coded in
March/April this year, 2001 and there have been several
minor upgrades to Netpbm since then.
